Owner and Founder
John grew up in Nevada. His love of the outdoors and what it has to offer came from spending time with his Grandfather who passed on his love of the great outdoors to his Grandson. Fishing was far more prominent as a young kid, hunting came as he got a bit older. Around the age of 10 his grandfather took him out for rabbit. "I can still take you to the exact spot where I shot my first rabbit with a single shot Stevens 12 gauge"
At the age of 16, John, his Uncle, Aunt and Grandfather went hunting for Javelina in Bloody Basin Arizona. Although only John was successful on that hunt (his first big game animal) his Grandfather and family could not have been more proud of him. After that day it was set, hunting was for certain his passion!! That was over 20 years ago.
Fast forward, he has been hunting on his own and with friends since he was 18 and working in and around the hunting industry to some level from about the age of 25. He has experience in hunting from upland game to African safaris and Alaska DIY hunts along with having hunted 3 continents and 12 states for a variety of species. He recently decided he has 2 goals: his first is the turkey world slam and the other is the super 10. His absolute favorite animal to hunt is pigs/hogs of any kind in any place with any method. His all-time favorite caliber is 300wsm with 168gr Barnes ttsx handloads. (his Grandfather passed away when he was 18, since then on all of John's hunting trips he brings a photo of his Grandfather with him, so he can "go with me").
He has 4 wonderful children, 3 of which share the passion for hunting and 1 for fishing and backpacking. A lovely, very understanding wife who has always accepted the fact that from August through April he comes and goes like the wind (lol). He can not forget his 3 crazy dogs only 1 of which was a bird dog long retired, the other 2 just help to entertain him!
He has a true passion and commitment in getting people booked and out there for their favorite hunts or animals! He will be there to help assist you with your hunt and answer as many questions as possible for you. As well, if you don't see a hunt you want contact him anyways. He will be more then happy to send you to a great outfitter. This community of outdoorsman's, outdoorswomen and children should be about helping each other and supporting us as a whole, we are all on the same team!
